Student Guitars
Mikes Music stock a comprehensive range of student guitars, prices start from just £30.00 - £50.00 from the most basic. In consultation with teachers we offer a a selection of nylon strung (classical - Spanish ) guitars. All instruments are fully set up for easy playing in our own workshop. We offer these instruments in 4 sizes, 1/4 1/2 3/4 4/4. As a guide 1/4 size guitars are good for children age below 5 years, age 5-8 years 3/4, 8-12 years, 4/4 12 years upwards. This age ranging should be taken as a guide only, your teacher or a member of Mikes Music staff will be happy to help you obtain the right size guitar.

Upgrading or Changing Size As children grow and students playing abilities improve, it necessary to upgrade to a larger or better guitar. Mike Music understand this and will always take a well looked after instrument back in part exchange.
Purchase options. As well as buying your instrument outright by cash cheque or credit card Mike Music has a Hire to Purchase Option called our Rock Rent Scheme this option allows you to rent a guitar and accessory pack for a monthly payment of 10% of the purchase cost. After 11 payments the instrument and accessories are yours. Should the student not continue for any reason the goods can be returned and no further payments need be made (subject to minimum 3 month contract).
Example Good student 3/4 size guitar =£49.95 + Basic student accessory package £30.00
Total purchase price = £79.95 rental = £7.99 per month
Total repayable over 11 installments to own instrument = £87.89 (21.2% Apr)
Alternatively if you settle the balance at month 4 you pay only the purchase price.
Total purchase price = £79.95 rental per month £7.99 x 3 =£23.97 balance payable month 4 = £55.98 ( 0.0% Apr)
