Product info. The first notes and the feel of an instrument are very important for a beginner. They help to develop acoustic capabilities as well as enhancing future artistic development. Buffet B12 clarinets are made from ABS resin with a brush textured finish giving an  appearance and sound similar to that of genuine grenadilla wood. It has the advantage of being lightweight, strong and easy to clean – perfect for beginners up to grade 4/5.
The instrument, has traditional nickel coloured body rings, French style straight keywork and traditional bell ring giving a very attractive  design. The body is stained and buffed to give the appearance of wood. The nickel silver keywork is cold forged and induction soldered, providing greater stability, precision and quality. The B12 model is mounted with traditional skin pads as found on most  intermediate and professional instruments..
B12 clarinets are equipped with an adjustable thumb rest for ease of locating the most comfortable thumb position and a neck strap ring to reduce weight on hands when using a neck strap.
The outfit is supplied with a quality case, mouthpiece, cork grease and a pull through for cleaning.
